This is where you can find out about us, what we’ve done, what we’re doing, and where we think we’re heading. Also, if you’re looking for free short cases on leadership and some of our psychology concept resources, you’re in the right place…just go check out the Things We’ve Made and the UA Organizational Leadership Distinguished Projects Collection.
The Topics in Organizational Psychology Lab is Dr. B. A. Brown’s (that’s me) Industrial-Organizational Psychology lab. We primarily look at how to apply psychology to the workplace. My research specifically focuses on workplace situational effects, including stress and leadership, often in connection with team processes and outcomes.
That said, many of my undergraduate students are not looking at future research careers – so we do lots of other things more suited to their career goals as well, like write cases, create training/learning resources, and complete practical applied projects based on student interest and community needs, etc.
If you choose to work with us, plan to do some things virtually, and some in person – we mix it up!
